I only had two and a half hours here, it was not enough. To enter the zoo, I would recommend taking the chair lift instead of the elephant train; the chair lift gives you an aerial view of just how massive the park is and it also makes it feel like you’re being airlifted into Jurassic Park.
I only managed to see the zoo but there were also some beautiful gardens, an amusement park, picnic areas and a petting zoo. The Korean tourism site boasts that the park is 7,000,000 square kilometres. Before arriving I had some serious doubts and thought that this number must be a typo…it still seems excessive ( I can’t personally fathom what that amount of land would look like) but the park is enormous.
***As an aside, the subway takes you right to the zoo. I would recommend the subway over any other form of transportation to get there.
